Hundreds of dogs and puppies are shipped everyday with very few problems.  Airlines are well equipped  for handling our canine friends and take great pride in delivering them safe and sound.  As has always been said for humans and dogs, "the most dangerous part of flying is the drive to and from the airport".

We don't ship our puppies before they are 10 weeks old.  We use the three major airlines.  We ship from Milwaukee or Madison depending on which airport will offer the most direct flight. We only ship to major airports as we want the flight to be as direct as possible.

We acclimate the puppy to his crate over a two week period. Gradually extending their time until they are comfortable with the crate for extended periods of time. We want him to be comfortable in the crate and being alone.

The cost for shipping is $350.00.  This includes the crate, health certificate, acclimation certificate, air fare, gas, time and parking at the airport.  The puppy and shipping costs must be paid in full 10 days before shipping.

If you want to fly in to pick up your puppy we also offer a courier service to the airport.  The service is $125.00.  This covers the health certificate and my expenses getting to and from the airport.  You will need a soft sided airline approved carrier that will fit under the seat.  This allows you to take the puppy on as carry on. Most airlines charge around $100.00 for this.  

Airline Travel

We prefer that you come here to the farm to pick up your new puppy but when that isn't possible an airline travel package is available.  It is normal to feel concerns about putting your precious new family member on an airline but we do all we can to insure that the experience is a good one for you and your new friend.  We'll go over everything you need to know and do and try to handle as many of the details as we can.
